The prestigious GIL 2011 : India event was held on 27th of this month by Frost & Sullivan at Mumbai's Grand Hyatt Hotel. This is part of Frost & Sullivan's global initiative to create an industry community for Growth, Innovation and Leadership.

As a part of this, the much sought after 2011 Frost & Sullivan Growth Excellence Awards were presented. Maestros Mediline Systems Limited was awarded the Excellence Award for Technology Innovation in Mobile Healthcare. This was part of a stringent evaluation criteria of innovative solutions from various organizations. Our telemedicine innovations were evaluated in detail against many worthy competitors.

This is a very big recognition coming from an extremely credible organization like Frost & Sullivan. I had the honour of receiving this award on behalf of all the special people responsible for this achievement. We had Dr. Menon, Mr. Anil Goyal, Mr. Mahajini, Vinayak Deshpande and Dr. Vasundhara Atre as part of the Maestros contingent.

I would like to recognize the team that was essentially responsible for getting us into this position. The vision of our management team led by Dr. Menon, Mr. Tendulkar and his research team, who have set very high standards in developing innovative solutions. Special thanks to Vinayak Deshpande and Dr. Vasundara Atre for their relentless efforts in developing the Telemedicine business for us. A lot of credit for this goes to this team.
